The Monaghan Municipal District is to seek the views of the local public on the way they would like to see the popular Rossmore Forest Park amenity in Monaghan Town developed in the future. The Monaghan 10 & 5 Miler continues to enjoy great success following a super turn out last Sunday. Athletic clubs both locally and nationally were represented by over 600 athletes taking part on the day. A YOUNG Armagh man who bit a pub doorman’s finger, during an incident that occurred in Monaghan town after he was refused admission to the premises, had the charges against him dismissed under the Probation Act at Monaghan District Court last week.
