Monaghan Tidy Towns has presented Monaghan U3A with €2500 in lieu of their part in this year’s success in Monaghan’s winning the National Climate Change Award. Long-established Monaghan Town business O’Hanrahan Travel is celebrating this week after scooping the Best Long Haul Agent and Best Agent of 2016 award for a second year running at the annual Travel Centres Awards.   The awards ceremony took place on Saturday November 12 last in the Mullingar Park Hotel.   The awards were judged by suppliers within the travel industry who shortlisted travel agents for the specific categories.
