ROADS MINISTER’S VISIT DISMISSED AS “PR EXERCISE”

A brief stopover by Roads Minister Shane Ross in Carrickmacross on Tuesday to be briefed on the state of local and regional roads has been slammed by local Councillors as a “PR exercise” and “boxticking”. EXIT AGONY FOR FARNEY MEN

O’Rourke eager to highlight lack of injury time PATRICK SMYTH The half-time whistle can sometimes come at the wrong time. For the chasing team, full-time always comes at the wrong time.
