The minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation, Heather Humphreys TD, has welcomed confirmation from Waterways Ireland that almost €7million in funding has been provided to progress three major greenway projects in Cavan and Monaghan in 2020. This Saturday the annual 1916 societies commemoration marking the 64 anniversary of the IRA’s Brookeborough RUC Station raid will take place at Altawalk cross situational between Brookeborough and Roslea.
