N2 ROAD PLANNERS STILL AVAILABLE FOR SUBMISSIONS ON NEW ROUTES

Transport Infrastructure Ireland has told Deputy Niamh Smyth that the Monaghan County Council project team working on two major road schemes for the N2 in the county are still available to meet individuals or representatives of groups who were unable to attend last year’s public consultation events on preferred routes. The Fianna Fáil representative raised the issue in the Dáil last month with the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport, Shane Ross TD, following a number of representations she received from constituents about the Clontibret to the border and Castleblayney to Ardee schemes.
