CAMPERVAN STOLEN IN CLONES
THE theft of a Citroen Relay campervan from a private residence in the Clones area between Tuesday and Thursday of last week is being investigated by gardai. Anyone that may have information or might have observed the 05 MN registered vehicle is asked to contact gardai in Clones (047 51262) or Monaghan (047 77200).

• Michael McDonnell GARDAI are investigating two instances of unusual behaviour on the part of drivers who offered lifts to people seeking to get home after nights out in Monaghan town. The most recent incident occurred in the early hours of Saturday 9th February, when a couple seeking a taxi had accepted a lift from the Diamond area of Monaghan town. Carmelo Abela, Foreign Minister of Malta, was on a visit to the Cavan/Monaghan region on Tuesday to study the Border situation at first hand in the context of the current Brexit situation.
