The O’Neill Pipe Band, Clontibret, celebrated their 40th anniversary in great style with a major international pipe band parade in Monaghan Town on Saturday last, 6th October.  The O’Neills were joined in the unique celebrations by 48 member of the New Hampshire Pipes and Drums band from the USA and the famed Tayuela De Mercer Pipe from Madrid, who took part in the Monaghan St. Patrick’s Day parade in 2006.
