The Champagne flowed at National Lottery offices on Friday last, 9th November as the syndicate from Treanor Stone-Tec in Clontibret picked up a cheque for €226,567 – their prize for matching five numbers and one Lucky Star in the EuroMillions draw on Friday, 2nd November.
The 22 member syndicate group includes company directors, production, and administration staff, ranging in age from 25 – 60 years old. As previously reported, they will share the win equally with each member taking home €10,298.50.
The group has been playing EuroMillions together for the last three years and the lucky ticket was purchased on the day of the draw in Matthew’s Newsagents in Monaghan Shopping Centre.
Celebrating the win last Friday a delighted Rachel Duffy said, “We all plan to have a great Christmas and maybe some holidays in the New Year!”
