LOCAL WORKPLACE SYNDICATE SCOOPS OVER €200,000

One of the members of a local syndicate that scooped a whopping €226,567 in the EuroMillions draw on Friday last, 2nd November has this week spoken of her delight at the win.
Twenty-two employees in Treanor Stone-Tec in Clontibret will each benefit to the tune of over €10,000.
The winning ticket which was an €18 Quick Pick with Plus was purchased on the day of the draw in Matthew’s Newsagents in Monaghan Shopping Centre. It matched five numbers plus one Lucky Star in the draw. Speaking to the Northern Standard Tracey Dowd from Treanor Stone-Tec said that the lucky winners who do the lotto every week were delighted with their windfall.
“We are all over the moon, the money is very welcome and it is a nice wee boost for everyone.”
The winning numbers in the EuroMillions draw were 3, 6, 10, 11, 44 and the Lucky Stars were 3 and 4. The Match 5 & 1 Lucky Star winning ticket matched the 5 numbers – 3, 6, 10, 11, 44 and one of the Lucky Stars – 4.
