A man in his late 20s was arrested following search operations carried out by the Gardaí in Monaghan Town and Newbliss this week to clamp down on the sale and supply of illegal drugs. Carried out under Operation Tara, the searches led to the seizure of a quantity of illegal drugs and assorted drugs paraphernalia. The person arrested was questioned at Monaghan Garda Station.
