Concerns have been raised this week about the future of Local Employment Offices in the towns of Clones and Ballybay. The number of pubs in Co Monaghan has reduced by 19.8% between 2005 and 2021, with the extended closure periods during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic period having a significant impact on the sector, a new report has revealed.
