The Cú Chulainn Blood Bikes charity has come to the rescue of a nursing home in Co Cavan which found itself running short of vital personal protective equipment in the current Covid-19 public health emergency. Blood Bikes volunteer Jim Smith arrived at the local air field in Mountnugent with two boxes of equipment for the staff of the Sheelin nursing home, which is situated nearby.
