The Health Service Executive has confirmed that the Minor Injury Unit at Monaghan General Hospital will have its hours of operation reduced from November 1 next, and will only be available to the public from 9 am-5 pm Monday-Friday. “This service will not be open on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays,” a statement released by the HSE earlier this week confirmed.
