A 25-YEAR-OLD Carrickmacross farmer has been sent to prison for assaulting an elderly local pub owner — in an incident in which he chewed off part of his victim’s ear. Three vehicles were involved in the collision at Aclint Bridge between Ardee and Carrickmacross.
