ASBESTOS REMOVAL SPARKS UPROAR AS… GARDAI AND EPA CALLED TO PROBE BLAYNEY ISSUE

The removal of asbestos roofing from a former theatre building in Castleblayney, without any Environment Protection Agency (EPA) presence, or special safety measures evident on Saturday last, has led to uproar being voiced in the town by local residents, with gardai, as well as local authority officials, called to the scene and a full investigation sought.
