The IDA’s record of attracting foreign direct investment to Co Monaghan was branded “dismal” by Sinn Féin TD for Cavan/Monaghan Matt Carthy this week. An allocation in excess of €2.5 million for the development of walking and cycling infrastructure in Co Monaghan was announced this week.
