235 Ukrainian people displaced by the ongoing war in their country are currently living in host accommodation in Co Monaghan, statistics released this week disclosed. The 235 are accommodated in 113 host homes, representing 30% of the total number of Ukrainians who have arrived in Ireland since the invasion of their country. The Health Information and Quality Authority has delivered a positive assessment of the child protection and welfare services delivered by Tusla in the Cavan/Monaghan region.
