A targeted, high-impact bovine TB Control Plan is in place in Co Monaghan to try to address the continuing high levels of the disease detected in herds there, the Department of Agriculture said this week. NEW TOUR GUIDES FOR MONAGHAN AREA
Michael Fisher Fourteen people qualified recently as regional tour guides for Co. Monaghan following a six months course and examination last year sponsored by LEADER and organised by the Cavan Monaghan Education and Training Board. They received their certificates and Fáilte Ireland badges in a virtual graduation ceremony hosted by Zoom. HEROES-AID TO DELIVER PPE TO FRONTLINE WORKERS IN MONAGHAN
Heroes-Aid, a voluntary notfor- profit organisation established in the early stage of the covid-19 pandemic in March, to protect and support frontline health care workers, is arranging for the distribution of approximately 35,000 pieces of PPE to frontline workers at 54 sites around Ireland, including those working in nongovernmental organizations.
