Monaghan County Council has sent its congratulations to Tydavnet’s Caitriona Balfe on her latest screen success. She received a Scottish BAFTA award on Sunday for her role in the time travelling television series Outlander. The actress triumphed over Ashley Jensen and Annie Wallace to win this year’s Actress Television distinction at a glamorous red carpet ceremony in Glasgow. Another year has come and gone and with it another very successful Killylough Annual 40km/100km Charity Cycle in aid of St Dympna’s Faith & Light, Tydavnet.
