By PATSY McARDLE A huge search was resumed in North Monaghan this week for the body of a young Co.Tyrone man murdered by the IRA nearly forty years ago with the exhumation on Tuesday last of a body from a churchyard at Urbleshanney near Scotstown, close to the Monaghan/Tyrone border. 400 WALKERS TURN OUT FOR RTE WALKING SHOW AT SLIABH BEAGH

More than 400 walkers converged on Sliabh Beagh for the RTE Walk Show hosted by John Murray on Saturday, May 7th. Local personalities including Jack and Sammy Leslie and Knockatallon Ramblers’ walk leader, Paddy Sherry were interviewed along the walk for the radio show which was broadcast last week. Get your hair done for the radio! The Knockatallon Ramblers along with the support of other network groups will welcome RTE for a walking extravaganza at Sliabh Beagh on May 7th. The event will be broadcast on RTE’s ‘The John Murray Show’.
