What was described as a “full-circle moment” was celebrated at Monaghan Hospital last week with the official opening of a new ante-natal suite. Ante-natal services transferred to the St Davnet’s Campus in the town in 2004 but they have been restored to the Monaghan Hospital location since June of this year. The sudden passing at the weekend of Archbishop Noël Treanor of Silverstream, Tyholland has evoked widespread sorrow and evinced many tributes from leading figures of Church and State.
