The body of a 70-year-old Co Tyrone man was found during a search operation in Glaslough on Monday last. It is understood that 70-year-old Ivan Vaughan, a well-known music performer from the Caledon area, was returning home from a weekend engagement in Glaslough when his car encountered heavy flooding on a minor road and became stranded. Mr Vaughan’s body was recovered approximately ten metres from his vehicle at around 11.25 am on Monday in the Corraghdown area.
