The Gardaí have confirmed that they are now conducting a murder investigation following the death in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda on Saturday last of Mr Seamus Bell from Foxfield, Carrickmacross. The Cavan/Monaghan constituency is to receive €1,136,000 in funding over the course of two years through the Government’s Community Involvement Grant Programme, which allows a wide range of works to be undertaken on regional and local roads.
