Two weeks is a long time in football and that time frame saw Monaghan drop from the elation of taking out the Ulster champions in their own backyard, two weeks back, on Sunday, May 20th, to plumbing the depths of disappointment and even despair at going out of this year’s series at the same venue to Fermanagh on Sunday last in a game that for Monaghan people at least will be remembered for a lot of the wrong reasons.
