SSE AIRTRICITY PRESENTS OVER €120K TO 47 COMMUNITY GROUPS IN CAVAN/MONAGHAN

SSE Airtricity, Ireland’s largest renewable energy provider, recently handed out more than €120,000 to community groups close to its Bindoo and Gartnaneane Wind Farms in Co Cavan, and to the Mullananalt Wind Farm in Co Monaghan. This year’s presentation at the Lavey Community Centre in Poles, Co Cavan saw a total of 47 local groups receiving funding, including schools, sports clubs and community centres. Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport Shane Ross TD will visit Co Monaghan to examine for himself the condition of local roads on Tuesday, August 21st, it was confirmed this week.
