Gardaí in Co Monaghan are seeking information in relation to weekend incidents in which the cars of Mass-goers were broken into and items stolen. Dónal McCague from Scotstown is one of the musicians featured on a new TG4/BBC documentary on the northern fiddle tradition. To be broadcast on March 1 on TG4, the documentary is the work of Deaglán Ó Mochain, “one of the Ballybay Moens” as he told the Northern Standard this week.
