Conroy Gold And Natural Resources Plc is to “materially increase” the drilling meterage at its gold deposit site in Clontibret, Co Monaghan following what the company has described as “recent positive drilling results”. Earlier this year, the company announced the discovery of additional extensive gold zones at Clontibret, reporting “wide mineralised intersectors and grades of up to 24 g/t gold”. In an update to shareholders, released to the Stock Exchange last week, the AIM-listed explorer said that it was increasing the meterage drilled by circa 70% to over 1,700 metres. ...

Maeve and Francis McCabe from Avelreagh, Clontibret are the only children of Kevin and Kate and were born in July 2010. Francis was born with a very rare lung condition and is the only person in Ireland to suffer from it.
