The Seáns ladies held their very successful ‘mock wedding’ fundraiser on Easter Sunday night. The show started in the Community Centre in Corcaghan with the wedding ceremony in a beautiful setting, very professionally decorated by Flowers of Magic (by local man Conor Clerkin and his member of staff, June). CLONTIBRET FUN RUN A HUGE SUCCESS
A brilliant day was had by all last Saturday when our inaugural 10/5km Fun Run was held combining the efforts of Clontibret O’ Neills Juvenile Football Club, the Parents Association of Scoil Mhuire and O’Neill Shamrocks. There was a great turnout from the Community with over 300 people participating on the day. It was a great family occasion with Dooskey providing the music creating a party like atmosphere. A special function was held in honour of Mr Kane on Thursday last, 27th March in the town council chamber and was attended by councillors, town council staff, gardaí and members of Mr Kane’s family.
