The Seáns ladies held their very successful ‘mock wedding’ fundraiser on Easter Sunday night. The show started in the Community Centre in Corcaghan with the wedding ceremony in a beautiful setting, very professionally decorated by Flowers of Magic (by local man Conor Clerkin and his member of staff, June).

The bridal party arrived at the church a few minutes late in wedding cars also supplied by Conor. First to arrive were the four best men – Barry ‘Right Hand Man’ Mc Guinness), Murt ‘Second-best’ Cleere, Paddy ‘Essex’ Kierans and Stephen ‘Two Left Feet’ Clerkin.

Next to arrive were the groom’s father and mother, Mr. & Mrs. Rockafeller (Paul Hagan and the elegant ‘Rihanna’ aka Brian McQuaid). Next to arrive was the stunning and very protective bride’s mother (Darina Moneygrabber/Maloney), escorted into the ceremony by her faithful husband Peter McGinnity, who then went back to collect his favourite daughter, the bride Orla Gleeson.

The priest for the occasion was Fr. Patrick Carpenter (Patrick McArdle), who describes his role as a “carpenter and joiner”, assisted by his altar servers Pamela ‘Little Angel’ Connolly and Emily ….
