A man is in custody after being arrested by Gardaí conducting a Covid-19 patrol in Monaghan Town. The Gardaí have reiterated the importance of the public adhering to the current health and social distancing requirements following the incident, which occurred on Tuesday afternoon. Monaghan has doubled in the past week according to official figures released by the Department of Health.
