Two men appeared before Monaghan District Court on Monday following a fatal accident in which a 22-year-old man from Scotshouse lost his life on the concession road between Clones and Cavan on Saturday morning. James Brady of Scotshouse Close, Scotshouse was tragically killed when the car in which he was a front seat passenger was involved in a head-on collision with another vehicle at Clonoony, on the N54, shortly before 4am on Saturday morning.
