WEE TED LEADS THE WAY FOR THE JOLLY JOGGERS

Little Ted McQuaid, the beneficiary of this year’s Jolly Joggers walk and run organised by Glaslough Harriers AFC, decided to lead by example at the New Year’s Day event. He is shown with parents Gabby and Pat approaching the finishing line of the Emyvale course much to the delight of the assembled spectators, among them World Masters athletics champion Donna Evans. Proceeds from the annual event will this year help defray wee Ted’s medical expenses. To support the cause a total of 805 people registered for the 10k/6k undertaking in advance and more took part on the day.
