A family fun day was held by Mulladuff Residents’ Association in Smithborough on Monday to celebrate the completion of a cycle path along the greenway area. Monaghan Integrated Development which managed the scheme granted €20,000 from the Outdoor Recreation Scheme and Ballybay Clones Municipal District provided €13,000, making the total cost of the project €33,000. The development was welcomed by the Cathaoirleach of Ballybay Clones Municipal District, Cllr Sean Gilliland (Fine Gael).
