GOLD COMPANY TO ESTABLISH OPEN-PIT GOLDMINE IN CLONTIBRET

Conroy Gold and Natural Resources has confirmed this week that it intends to open a conventional open-pit goldmine at its Clontibret site.
Announcing more “good news” from its gold drilling programme in Monaghan, the company said drilling was completed at a further two holes, and that there had been more “positive results”.
Stating that it now plans to develop a conventional open pit gold mine at the site, Conroy indicated that it hopes to establish the mine and have it up and running as soon as possible.
Chairman Professor Richard Conroy said the company was confident that it could build upon the results and enhance the identified resource
The announcement comes just weeks after Conroy revealed positive results from another drilling programme at the same site.
