An inspirational young GAA volunteer from Killanny has won the Translink Young Volunteer of the Month Award. Following a recent illness, twenty two year old Andrew Kieran has been an outstanding role model for all young people and a symbol of hope for all those battling sickness within the GAA community. St Macartans 3-04 Donaghmoyne 1-08 ERIN TREANOR They say all good things must come to end and so it was on Sunday last when Donaghmoyne relinquished their long-time grip on the Ulster Ladies Club SFC title by dint of a 1-8 to 3-4 defeat to Tyrone tyros St. Macartans.
