78.5% of Co Monaghan’s vacant commercial addresses have been vacant for three years or longer, the highest in the country. The statistic emerged this week from a commercial vacancy report compiled by the GeoDirectory group. The report showed that Co Monaghan’s commercial vacancy rate was at 12.9% in quarter 4 of 2017. The national commercial vacancy rate has fallen from 13.5% in the fourth quarter of 2016 to 13.3% in the latest survey.
