STEADY INCREASE IN COVID-19 CASES IN MONAGHAN
Michael Fisher There has been a steady increase in the number of recorded Covid-19 cases in Co. Monaghan in the past fortnight. The official figures show that from midnight on March 31st when there were 17 cases, the number had risen to 62 by midnight on Monday April 6th. The first recorded case was on March 20th. Michael Fisher A Monaghan expert on viral infections has welcomed the cross-border understanding reached by health officials on both sides of the border for dealing with coronavirus. A HELPING HAND
Monaghan Collegiate School is among those playing a part in helping those on the front line in the fight against coronavirus. Last week they sent a special delivery to a Cavan General Hospital containing hand sanitiser, goggles, gloves, antibacterial wipes and cleaning products from the stores of the school.
