TWO DEAD IN ‘BLAYNEY ROAD ACCIDENT
A single-vehicle road accident on the R181 Shercock road between Castleblayney and Lough Egish early yesterday, Wednesday, afternoon claimed the lives of two men, Gardaí confirmed as we went to press. The male occupants of the vehicle were aged in their 30s and 40s. They were pronounced dead at the scene. On Sunday afternoon last Emyvale club held a Drive-In Bingo at the GAA Grounds in Tully and it proved a hit with the punters.
