Peter Hughes Calls were made at last Friday’s inaugural meeting of the Co Monaghan Joint Policing Committee for the advancement of the delivery of CCTV crime detection and deterrent systems for the towns of Castleblayney and Carrickmacross. Twins, Dr. Caoimhe and Dr. Niamh McCarville have the unusual distinction of both recently graduating as doctors after six years of study at Bristol and Keele Universities respectively. The twins were born and raised in Reading in the UK, but their parents Leo and Deirdre both hail from South Monaghan.
