PEDESTRIAN SERIOUSLY INJURED IN MONAGHAN T OWN COLLISION
A man in his 50s sustained serious injuries when struck by an SUV in a collision in Monaghan Town in the early hours of last Saturday morning. The injured man underwent treatment at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda. The incident occurred in the Broad Road area of the town around 1 am. Gardaí have appealed to witnesses to come forward. Any road users in the area at the time who might have dashcam footage that could assist the investigation are asked to make this available to the Gardaí. NEWBLISS INCIDENT
The Gardaí have also reissued an appeal for information in relation to a road traffic incident in Newbliss last month which resulted in significant damage being caused to the entranceway of the local Church of Ireland grounds.
