A man in his 40s arrested in Co Monaghan on Sunday in connection with the discovery of a number of attempted improvised explosive devices has been released without charge . Gardaí have described the investigation of the discovery of a number of devices at locations in the north-east and south-west in the past month as ongoing and said that a file was being prepared for submission to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
