NUREMORE HOTEL IN CARRICKMACROSS PUT ON THE MARKET FOR €6MILLION
As we went to press yesterday (Wednesday), The Northern Standard learned that the former 4 star Nuremore Hotel and Country Club had gone up for sale on the open market, along with the estimated 160 acre site on which it is located. The landmark hotel has welcomed many high profile guests over the years, including the Jack Charleton’s Irish International Soccer Squad. The landmark hotel provided significant employment within the locality and was a strong economic driver for the South Monaghan area.
It is understood that the hotel has recently undergone a facelift in preparation for its sale. A press release read: CBRE have confirmed their instructions to offer the Nuremore Hotel Carrickmacross for sale with a guide price of €6million. The property is being sold on behalf of Declan De Lacy Liquidator of Nubility Capital Ltd. The Nuremore Hotel, which ceased trading in 2023, was a business synonymous with hospitality in the North East region.
