ROSSMORE GOLF CLUB have kick started the 2024 golf season with their annual drive-in. At the event last Sunday, new Captain Des O’Connor, and new Ladies Captain Ann McKenna took to the first tee for the launch of the new season. The ladies’ Spring League has already begun, with the men’s League set to start next Friday. From now until the end of September Rossmore Golf Club will be a hive of activity with various competitions, with 18-hole competitions set to begin on St. Patrick’s weekend.

Men’s Captain Des O’Connor came to Monaghan in 1994 and along with his wife Siobhán, and two daughters Maebh and Grainne, have been an integral part in the community ever since; “It’s a lovely honour to have.
