The Northern Standard Newspaper/ Monaghan GAA Awards Night will take place this Saturday in the Four Seasons Hotel, Monaghan, when the 2023 Award winners will receive their rewards as recognition for all their hard work and efforts last year. The Club of the Year award was won by Scotstown GAA after a remarkable season for the club across all levels. The club reclaimed the Senior Football Championship with a three-point win over Inniskeen and went on to reach the Ulster Championship final after enthralling victories against Kilcoo and Trillick. There were individual awards for Scotstown also. Conor McCarthy was named Club Monaghan Player of the Year for his outstanding performances in the Monaghan jersey in 2023.
