A major awareness initiative on men’s health which will continue over the coming month gets underway in Monaghan Town this week. The “throw-in” for the Crocus Movember Championship took place on Wednesday November 1 with an appeal to all GAA players, supporters and officials of clubs to back the campaign by electing to grow their facial hair “in any shape, colour or form” during the month of November and seek sponsorship in support of the cause.
