NORTH MONAGHAN BREAK-INS UNDER GARDA INVESTIGATION

A number of break-ins which occur red in the North Monaghan area in the past week are under investigation by the Gardaí. Three males were disturbed at the scene of a break-in at a house in Knockboy, Silverstream at approximately 9.15 am on Tues day morning of this week, April 25. The men fled into ne arby f ields. It is bel ieved that a dark-coloured Audi A3 car was involved in the incident. Anyone who was in the Tyholland area at the time and noticed suspicious activity, or who has dash c am footage that could be of assistance, is requested to make contact with the Gardaí i n Monaghan on 047 77240. Two break-ins took place on Thursday last, April 20. A sum of money was taken from a residence at Aghalissabeagh, Scotstown between 1-2.30 pm. A break-in also occurred at Tirnaskea North, Tydavnet between 11 am and 3.15 pm. Again, anyone with information th at could assist the i nvestigation of these crimes is asked to contact 047 77240.
