WOMAN INJURED IN BALLYBAY HIT AND RUN INCIDENT

A female pedestrian in her sixties sustained injuries in a hit and run traffic incident at Main Street, Ballybay on Friday evening last. The pedestrian had to receive treatment at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda following the incident, which occurred around 8.45 pm. The vehicle involved failed to remain at the scene. Local Gardaí have appealed for anyone with relevant information to contact them. They would like to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and have requested people who may have video or dash cam footage that could assist the investigation to make it available.
