FALL IN CO MONAGHAN PROPERTY PRICES
Property prices in Co Monaghan have fallen by €17,500 during the last quarter, according to the latest MyHome.ie Property Price Report. The report for Quarter 4 2022, in association with Davy, shows that the median or middle asking price for a property in the county is now €177,500. However, Monaghan property prices have still risen by €2,500 when compared with the same period last year.
There were 118 properties for sale in the county at the end of Quarter 4 2022 – a decrease of 4% over the quarter. Asking prices for a three-bedroom semi-detached house in the county fell by €5,000 over the quarter to €170,000. This means that prices in the segment are flat compared to this time last year. Meanwhile, the asking price for a four-bedroom semi-detached Monaghan house rose by €5,000 over the quarter to €225,000. This price is up by €25,000 compared to this time last year.
