SINN FÉIN TO HOST OPEN PUBLIC MEETING IN INNISKEEN
Sinn Féin President Mary Lou McDonald TD will visit Monaghan next week (Tuesday, 29th November) and will address a public meeting in Inniskeen Community Centre at 7.30pm. Local Sinn Féin TDs Matt Carthy and Pauline Tully will also attend. Speaking in advance of the visit, Matt Carthy said: “I am looking forward to welcoming Sinn Féin President Mary Lou McDonald to engage with the people in Monaghan. We are encouraging people to attend our public meeting in Innskeane and I look forward to welcoming people there to have their say. “This is a time of great change.
In a couple of weeks, the government plan to rotate the position of Taoiseach. “Our view is we need a change of government, not just a change of Taoiseach. “Just as they have done for a century, Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael intend to pass power between them.
