“Give me a D!…Give me an A!…” The pupils of St Michael’s National School literally spelled out their delight when they were visited by Irish Olympian David Gillick yesterday, Wednesday morning. One of Ireland’s most successful track and field athletes of recent times, David was at St Michael’s to congratulate the pupils on their participation in the Marathon Miles programme promoted by Monaghan Sports Partnership.
